You can conveniently deposit money from Mpesa to National Bank. National Bank has a mobile banking platform called NatMobile. When you use this service, you will be able to access banking services like checking your account balance, transfer of money, making payments, and even requesting bank statements.
You need to have a National bank account to access these services. Visit your nearest National bank branch to get an account set up. You will fill a form and provide the needed identification documents. You can also open a NatMobile account by dialing *625# and getting your account number within minutes. Once you have your account number, you are good to go.
All National bank customers can access the depositing service at any time and day. You can also use the service from anywhere in the world. National Bank uses the pay bill 625625.
You can deposit from Mpesa to National Bank as shown below:
- Go to your Mpesa's menu using your sim toolkit, Safaricom App, or Mpesa app
- Select Lipa Na Mpesa
- Choose Pay bill
- You will be asked for a business or pay bill number. Enter 625625 which is the official National bank pay bill number
- For the account number, enter your National bank account number or that one of the people you want to deposit the money to
- Enter the amount of money you want to deposit to the National Bank account
- Enter your Mpesa PIN and press okay
- Make sure the pay bill, account number and amount you have entered are correct then press OK
- Upon a successful transaction, you will receive a confirmation message from Mpesa
- National Bank will also send you a confirmation message of the transaction
National bank mobile money has made it easier for its customers to make transactions.
